SEVIIN is an Orange County based, online clothing store committed to bringing comfortable, high quality garments to children from 0-3T.

"I often get asked how I decided on the name "SEVIIN", and it's simple; it came about because the number seven in roman numerals is "VII". To some it is just a number, but to me it’s everything! Seven letters in their first, middle and last name. My two boys, Dalante Donnell Dunklin, Jr. and Dashiel Donnell Dunklin are my miracle babies. This number represents positivity, happiness, and perfection; exactly what these boys mean to me. For years I’ve dealt with the possibility of not being able to have kids, endometriosis, thyroid disease, preterm labor, and high risk pregnancies all at the age of 24; which lead me here, dedicating this shop to them because they have been my reason for everything. At 29 weeks I was bedridden with my first son. After countless hours spent searching for baby clothes, I couldn’t help but realize that children’s garments are filled with slogans, sayings, prints, patterns and everything else in between. The simple, neutral, and quality clothes just couldn’t be found as easily; from there SEVIIN was born. It is my priority to hand pick and provide nothing but the best quality, comfort, and affordable products for your little ones! " - Alayna
We'd love to know your story! How did you get started? How did you get to where you are today? What are you most proud of?
For years I’ve dealt with the possibility of not being able to have kids, endometriosis, thyroid disease, preterm labor, and high risk pregnancies all at the age of 24; which lead me here, dedicating this shop to my two boys because they have been my reason for everything. At 29 weeks I was bedridden with my first son. After countless hours spent searching for baby clothes, I couldn’t help but realize that children’s garments are filled with slogans, sayings, prints, patterns and everything else in between. I couldn’t find the simple and neutral look i was looking for; from there SEVIIN was born. I have been blown away at how much my business has grown these past couple of months. The power is social media is so real and I am thankful to be able to share my journey and provide quality kids clothing.
What advice would you give someone wanting to pursue a career similar to yours?
The advice I would give to someone wanting to pursue the same career or something similar would be do not get discouraged; keep pushing through because your hard work and dedication will be well worth it—keep promoting yourself and don’t be afraid to either. The slow days in the beginning of starring your own business are only temporary and with time will grow in ways you probably weren’t expecting.
What are the best resources that have helped you along the way?
The best resources for me were reaching out to friends & family who have their own business and could coach me on the ins and outs of everything—it was a lot more helpful than browsing the Internet.
