We'd love to know your story! How did you get started? How did you get to where you are today? What are you most proud of? After having 3 amazing daughters and building a large real estate business I found myself incredibly discontent. I felt like I had been working for all the wrong reasons and had nannies and a school system raising my children. I remember constantly feeling like I was simply getting the leftovers in motherhood, while everyone else got to enjoy my children. After nearly losing our business and our marriage, we decide to live a life that we would be truly proud of. To work so that we could contribute to others but to also work more efficiently, so that we would have more time as a family. I left real estate and began homeschooling, and with a new baby boy completing our family we have been learning and traveling together for the last 4 years as a very happy and busy family of 6. My husband Aaron and I wrote the book The 5 Hour School Week which is our experience of leaving the traditional school system to embrace a life of worldschooling and unschooling, along with some helpful hints and fun resources. I run a social media platform designed to encourage parents to live outside the box and embrace building relationships with their kids, throwing away traditional narratives to live the life of their dreams. We have taken a unconventional approach to education and how we live our life, and we are thriving in a way I didn't know was possible. I am so honored and proud that we get to inspire and motivate parents to enjoy their parenting journey and cheer them on as they design lives they love.

What advice would you give someone wanting to pursue a career similar to yours?

To truly understand it is a personal journey and shouldn't be compared to anyone else. So often we think our goal will be completed like a sprint, but I believe this journey is far more a marathon. You also have to be obsessed with your mission and can never sacrifice sincerity and honesty.

What are the best resources that have helped you along the way?

Other parents on this journey has got to be my #1 resource, find the people who are doing what you want and watch how they do it. For unschooling and unconventional education, leaders like John Taylor Gatto, and Peter Grey were instrumental in my education.

Who can I help the absolute most with my message? Your story is your superpower and knowing who needs it most is crucial.

Know your why, write it down and come back to it over and over. It can be so easy to get overwhelmed and distracted, remembering your heart at the beginning will be your key to success.
